Venice, Fla., August 28, 2017 – The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Teaching and Club Professionals (T&CP) membership announced today the launch of an annual recognition of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional's Top 50 LPGA Teachers, presented in partnership with Women's Golf Journal. This new initiative identified and recognized the best LPGA instructors from more than 1,700 LPGA certified professionals worldwide. Nancy Lopez Golf Adventures Co-Owners and LPGA Class A Professionals Sue Powers and Teresa Zamboni were both recognized as one of the LPGA Top 50 Best Teachers.

Sue Powers has been an active member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals since 2003 and in 2013 she was named LPGA National Teacher of the Year. Sue is employed as the Teaching Professional and Financial Controller at Pelican Pointe Golf & Country Club in Venice, Florida.

Teresa Zamboni has been a highly respected and recognized member of the LPGA for more than 22 years and in 2007 she achieved the LPGA's highest honor by being selected LPGA National Teacher of the Year. Currently, in addition to her role with Nancy Lopez Golf Adventures, Teresa teaches at Crane Lakes Golf & Country Club in Port Orange, Florida.

"The LPGA is excited to partner with Women's Golf Journal on this annual recognition," said LPGA Chief Teaching Officer, Nancy Henderson. "More than 70 percent of our members teach the game of golf for a living and they are dedicated to the advancement of golf through teaching golfers of all ages and abilities to enjoy the game of golf."

Women's Golf Journal is an American national magazine dedicated to celebrating the lifestyle of golfing women everywhere.   "The depth of teaching expertise in the LPGA is astounding," said Women's Golf Journal Publisher Matthew Squire. "We're honored to celebrate the teaching expertise of these coaches in Women's Golf Journal, and are delighted that these incredible women are finally beginning to receive the recognition and the credit they so richly deserve."

"We are honored to be part of this elite group of golf professionals and are so lucky to be able to spread the philosophies of Nancy Lopez through our adventures.  I believe our greatest strength as Nancy Lopez Golf Adventures' expert instructors is that we don't try to reinvent the golfer's swing.  We work with their swing and teach them to play and enjoy the game through our Play Happy philosophies." said Teresa Zamboni.

Nancy Lopez became a member of the LPGA Tour in 1977 and won 48 LPGA Tour events during her LPGA career, including three major championships.   “When I met Teresa and Sue at other events, I knew I had the perfect team to help me deliver my message" said LPGA and World Golf Hall of Fame member, Nancy Lopez. “I am so fortunate to have two such highly regarded LPGA teachers and quality people as part of my team.”
